Wild Foods and Wildlife Beach Walk with Garry Eveleigh

Garry Eveleigh is a celebrated local forager and author of his book "Wild Cook". He will take us on a guided walk around Hurst peninsula, which is a 15 minute ferry ride from Keyhaven Quay.

As we meander our way through the pictuesque estuary Garry will point and and identify the various wildlife that thrives in the area.

We may even catch a glimpse of the elusive Grey Seals that breed and fee there.

Hurst Peninsula and the surrounding saltgrass marshes is a nature reserve and is abundant with many wild and very edible foreshore delicacies, including three different types of samphire, seablite, sea kale, sea purslane and seaweeds galore, to name just a few!

The walk will be informative and fun and will blow your mind and open your eyes to Mother Nature's amazing bounty just waiting to be discovered!
